Sticky Bunns

My first attempt to these sweets! And honestly, I am so glad with the results. Although I went over the caramel (which maybe it's ideal for some people), overall the bunns were too yummy ^_^  It takes time and patience so, be patient and start baking ;) 

INGREDIENTS:

For the Dough:

1 Package of Dry Yeast or Fresh Yeast
¾ cup of Whole Milk
¼ cup of Granulated Sugar
¼ cup of Water, warmed up to 115 degrees
¼ tsp of Vanilla Extract
1 Egg
1 tsp of Salt
¼ cup of Unsalted Butter, melted
4 cups of All Purpose Flour

For the Filling:
1/3 cup of Unsalted Butter, melted
1/2 cup of Brown Sugar
¼ cup of Granulated Sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp of Ground Cinnamon


For the glaze:

½ cup of Unsalted Butter
1 cup of Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp of Light Corn Syrup
¼ cup of Heavy Cream
1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
1 cup of Chopped Pecans or Dry fruit (optional)



METHOD:

1) In a small bowl, combine the warm water and 1 tsp of the granulated sugar, sprinkle the yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5 minutes.

Stuffed Pita Bread

We all love Fast Food, don't we? But that's not so healthy as we wised to, neither it's hygienic. This is why I share the recipes I make at home of fast food. Obviouly, they are never 100% fat-less but they are for sure made with quality ingredients and totally hygienic. And as any other home made recipe, we can costumize the recipe on our own taste. 
Here is an alternative to typical burguers bun: PITA BREAD. Here's how Pita Bread look like when you cut it in two halves:
You can buy the bread or make it yourself and freeze it. All you'll need to do unfreez the required bread everytime you're going to stuff it. 
Let's start with the chicken and salad stuffing!
First of all, grate the cabbage, carrot, cucumber, onion and tomato in a bowl.

Add mayonnaise, salt, pepper and some chilli salt (or any spice you like). Also, sprinkle a pinch of oregano if you want to. Mix it all!

Oreo Ice Cream Cake

YAY!!! All my favoutite ingredients in this recipe. Easy and DELICIOUS! Don't miss it ;)


INGREDIENTS: 
1 Gallon of Vanilla Ice Cream½ cup Caramel Sauce½ cup Chocolate Fudge 1 Large Bag of Oreo Cookies½ cup Walnuts in Syrup (optional)
METHOD:
1) Take the ice cream out of the freezer and leave at room temperature for 30 minutes so it can start to soften ( this is so that it makes it much easier to work with ).

2) Line a 9 inch spring form pan with some plastic wrap and set aside.

3) Line the inner edge of your pan with a row of Oreo cookies, also line the bottom of the pan with Oreo halves.

4) Place rest of the Oreo cookies in a large zip lock bag, and smash them with a rolling pin until the cookies become coarse crumbs.
5) In a large bowl mix together the ice cream, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, walnuts and the Oreo crumbs, reserving ½ cup of the crumbs for the topping. Mix everything together well to combine and add mixture to the pan outlined with the Oreos.

Chicken Veg Burger

Here' s the recipe created by myself that arose from a improvisation of the things I had in the fridge. It turned out to be the one of the yummiest burgers I've eaten in my life. Plus it was healthy and a proper meal.

There's nothing mysterious in it as you'll see. And the best part it, you can add and remove any ingredient you like. This is why there won't be a specific list of ingredients, just the process of making it.

Let's start!

First put some mayonaise on the lower part of the bun. I love mayo, that's why I use it alot. Diet concious people may avoid it.


Next thing to put on is some grilled chicken. You can also use leftovers too ;)



What comes now is some salad: lettuce, tomatoe and cucumber.


What I did was to add another piece of lower bun to make the burger large and to, of course, add more delicious ingredients. On that bunn, apply the mayo again.

Now some grilled vegs: potatos, capcicums and onion. With some salt, pepper and oil. This is how it should …
