Spanish Potatoes' Tortilla

Potatoes' Tortilla, tortilla de patatas in Spanish, is an omelette made of essentially egg and potatoes.


The recipe I am sharing here is NOT a typical Spanish Tortilla. It's just another version of many out there. Despite of not being traditional one, it's definitely a delicious one. :D


INGREDIENTS

6 eggs2 Potatoes (big size)1 onion 1 green chili/pepperSaltPepperSpicesOil 
METHOD
Cut the potatoes, onion and green pepper in small thin pieces. 

On a wide pan, add a good amount of oil. When it starts getting hot, add potatoes, onion and green chili to it. Stir it often, don't let the mixture stick on the pan. 


Add salt and black pepper to it. For more taste, add some spices: tumeric powder, garam masala and red chili powder.  



Let it cook until the potato is well done. Keep stirring is when its a little extra done. Then, turn off the flame and let it cool.

Aside, in a bowl beat the eggs and some more spices.



Add the cool potato's mixture to the beaten eggs and mix it well.

Sesame Crunchy Bars

Puff pastry is that one dough you should always have in your refrigerator. For those who don’t know what the Puff Pastry dough is, here’s a little description (source Wikipedia):

 "It is a flaky light pastry made from a laminated dough composed of dough and butter or other solid fat. The butter is put inside the dough (or vice versa), making a paton which is repeatedly folded and rolled out before baking. The gaps that form between the layers left by the fat melting are pushed (leavened) by the water turning into steam during the baking process."

If you understood nothing, don't worry. All this definition is telling us that the dough rises a lot when baked. You can find many recipes over the internet for puff pastry. But, personally, I would recommend to buy it: much easier and not expensive at all. In fact, the best part of recipes with Puff pastry is that you don’t need to make the dough. Just unfreez and make shapes and bake.

Chicken Nuggets with Sesame seeds

METHODCut the chicken in square pieces.
In a bowl mix the chicken with all the above ingredients: salt, red chili powder, paprika, coriander powder, garlic and ginger powder, soya sauce, vinager and the beaten egg.
Let it marinate for minimum 1 hour. 
In another bowl mix the bread crumbs with the sesame seeds in equal quantity and add a little bit of same dry spices. 
Now, all you have to do is coat eachsquare of the marinated chicken with the bread crubs and sesame seeds mixture. 
I recomend to coat all the chicken first and let it fix in the freezer for half an hour. 
In a pan let the oil go hot and fry the chicken on medium heat till they get golden brown.
Serve them hot and crispy ;)


Egg and Tuna snacks

Method Chop all the ingredients in very small pieces. Mix them all with the mayonnaise, salt and pepper.  First, put the chilli sauce on the bread followed by the previous mixture. For some crunch, sprinkle chips on it. And VIOLA!

Cheesy Nachos

INGREDIENTS FOR CHILI CON CARNE
2 tablespoons chopped onion2 tablespoons chopped red pepper4 tablespoons minceSaltRed chili powderTumeric powder2 Cups of Tomato sauce1 tablespoon oil



Cook the chopped onion and pepper in the hot oil. When they get soft, add the mince and the spicies. Next, add the tomato sauce and let it cook till the quantity gets half.
NOTE: Add the chilli powder according to taste. If you like it too spicy, you can also add other comercial chili sauce.

Hummus

Hummus is a delicious Egytian Dip you may have tried before. Here I present you a different and unique version of it. For those who are diet concious, this could be a great variety for them. It is super tasty plus low fat. Don't miss it ;)

Ingredients:

1 cup of Chickpeas
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Half sqeezed lemmon
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
Few canned Red Peppers

For seasoning: 
Chopped onion and tomatoe
Peeta bread


Spicy Cupcakes

Okay so as this is a recipe I kind of made myself (doesn't mean it did not existe already), I didn't know how to name it. And being cupcakes so in now a days, let's call it Spicy Cupcakes :P
Obviously easy recipe, just a little laborious. Worth the effort though! ;)

INGREDIENTS *For dough:2 cups of Flour2 Eggs2 tbsp oil1 tsp baking powder½ tsp salt½ tsp black pepper1 pinch of oreganowater *Filling: ChickenMushroomsSpiciesCheeseEggsMETHOD For the dough, mix all the ingredients except the water. Then add water slowly till you get a soft dough.
   2.  Boil the chicken with a little salt. Then cut into pieces (better result if done with hands). Cook it again with a table spoon oil and spicies as taste. Cut the mashroom in little squares.
    3.  Form little balls with the dough and extend it in about 3 inches circules. Then shape them on the cupcake pans.
    4.  Mix the chicken, mushrooms and cheese in the beaten eggs. Fill the basckets on the cupcake pan with this mixture. And bake…
